We are seeking two enthusiastic Certificate III Educators to join our team at Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre . Mt Atkinson Kindergarten, situated in Truganina, opened its doors in January 2023. Located within the Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre, the kindergarten can accommodate up to 132 children each day. The Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre offers a variety of services, including three‑ and four‑year‑old kindergarten programs, maternal and child health services, and spaces for community meetings and activities. These services are designed to support the needs of this rapidly growing suburban area. The Mt Atkinson community eagerly anticipates the continued expansion of local amenities, with new primary schools and shopping centres set to open soon. There are two part‑time, ongoing positions commencing January 2026. Position 1: 26.25 hours per week, working Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:15 am – 4:30 pm and Thursday 8 am – 11 am. Position 2: 17.5 hours per week, working Monday and Wednesday 8 am – 5:15 pm. About you You're reflective, curious and purpose‑led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member. You have a drive to grow and improve continually. You value kindness and respect. You have great knowledge of the child‑safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first‑aid certificate. About the role You’ll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. You’ll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You’ll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
