Parts Advisor–Cairns Full time, permanent position to join our dynamic team in Cairns, supporting and advising both internal and external stakeholders on parts across premium brands to minimise downtime and maximise productivity. Responsibilities Increase and maximise parts sales by liaising with the client base. Assist in providing a regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate and suitable supply and adhere to guidelines. Provide parts interpreting services and support to Cairns Branch activities. Make phone contact with clients to increase business and promote new products and improvements. Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and use of genuine parts. Monitor and stay informed of the latest product developments and updates, using them to maximum advantage. About You Completion or in the process of completing a certificate in Parts Interpreting (desirable) or equivalent industry training and/or experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role. Sound knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel, Allison and other associated products sold through our parts departments preferable but not essential. Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines (essential) and automatic transmissions (preferred). ERA Link experience is desirable but not required.
