About the role Do you currently have design experience with the high voltage electrical substation or have used Enterprise Asset Management systems to create and manage work orders and asset Would you like to work in a highly engaged substation design team that utilises 3D reality models and intelligent design systems to deliver quality and revolutionary detailed designs If so then we would like to hear from you Key responsibilities Within the role you will be working with a team that is made up of supportive and collaborative professionals that strive to achieve excellent results take pride in their attention to detail and ensure that there is positive satisfaction from all internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of their high-quality designs. As an Engineering Officer within the Substation Design Team you will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of substation design. This includes civil structural and electrical design components. You will also be trained in the use of the Enterprise Asset Management System to create work orders estimate projects and add substation assets. The role will be based from one of the existing substation design locations. Current locations include Orange Wagga Port Macquarie Ballina Albury Leeton and Griffith. About You We are looking for someone with : Experience in a similar Substation Design engineering role in the Energy / Electrical sector and / or Asset Management roles. Knowledge and application of current design philosophies procedures statutory requirements including Safe Design. Demonstrated experience to utilise analytical and technical knowledge to manage activities during planned and unplanned events providing appropriate solutions to technical / engineering issues in the Energy Network Technical environment. About your skills We are looking for someone with : Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage diverse and complex issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver technical services in a professional and timely manner. Strong attention to detail and commitment to produce quality work. Strong time management skills with excellent planning and organisational skills to be able to handle a varying complex workload. To be successful in this role you will need : Diploma of Electrical Engineering or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and / or relevant qualifications.
