Leading Hand – Albury Workshop WesTrac is seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand to join our Albury Workshop team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key leadership role - supporting technicians, coordinating daily workflow, and ensuring maintenance and repairs are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. You will lead from the front, setting the benchmark for attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and disciplined work planning. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, you will inspire and guide your team to achieve high productivity and consistently deliver outstanding results. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of Cat equipment - from civil and construction trucks to dozers, excavators, and graders - offering genuine variety and ongoing development. Roster and Remuneration Monday – Friday – DAY SHIFT ONLY Shift times: 7:00AM – 15:30PM Hourly rates from $49+ Overtime rates from $79+ Rates above are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience* Skills & Experience Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience essential Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or components is highly regarded A solutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Unrestricted Drivers Licence Close attention to detail and ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards Team oriented with proven ability to meet set deadlines Why Join WesTrac?
