Your role will ensure the reliable performance of rotary equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, and rotary dryers, supporting efficient and safe plant operations. Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. 5‑10 years of experience required for the role. Relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably in a urea manufacturing plant or a similar chemical process industry focusing on rotary equipment. In‑depth knowledge of rotary equipment design, operation, and maintenance practices. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing rotary equipment in industrial settings. Proficiency in engineering software and tools for equipment design, analysis, and modelling. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor equipment‑related projects. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in rotary equipment and urea manufacturing. Located in Karratha, the plant will use feedstock from Woodside under a 20‑year supply agreement and has a 20‑year offtake agreement with Incitec Pivot.
