We are guided by our values of integrity, trust, service, accountability, respect and empathy. Out of Home Care Regulation Directorate Statutory out-of-home care is when the Children’s Court has made an order allocating parental responsibility for a child or young person to the Minister for Community Services. We provide oversight of the agencies that provide statutory out-of-home care and adoption services through our accreditation program which includes compliance with OOHC registers and assesses organisations against the Code of Practice for Designated Agencies and Adoption Service Providers. About the role The Senior Accreditation Officer participates and leads in the implementation of systems, policies, procedures and processes for the accreditation and monitoring of out of home care and adoption agencies. The role contributes to the development and continuous improvement of the accreditation and monitoring systems and processes so that they are effective and efficient.
