About the Role: Day or Afternoon Shift Available $47.67 - 49.83 per hour Afternoon Shift 24% shift loading, starting at 2:30pm Based in Paget, Mackay (Commercial Ave) Responsibilities: As a Boilermaker at Austchrome, you’ll be involved in fabrication, manufacturing and reclamation of hydraulic components using: Automated welding steppers, booms, rotators and ID welders Welding with MIG, FCAW, TIG and Sub arc. Welds are required to pass MPI and UT testing Fabrication and manufacturing is done in collaboration with machinists, steel is machined to size and cleaned for assembly and welding. Collaborating in a team environment with experienced tradespeople across fabrication, machining, and plating Take responsibility for maintaining and improving a safe working environment and following all policies, procedures and safe work instructions.
