This is a casual position , offering 24–32 hours per week . We’re looking for someone who is flexible with working hours , as shifts span 5:45am to 8:00pm Monday through Sunday. This role will commence in early January 2026 and is a great opportunity to contribute to a busy, patient-focused environment. The Patient Services teams are accountable for the end-to-end patient journey. These key functions include theatre bookings/administration, patient registration, admissions and customer experience, ward reception, health records, patient billings, public contracts and sessional suites. Salary range: $32.02 - $37.35 per hour plus 25% casual loading plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing Patient admission, discharges and transfers Work within an interdisciplinary team environment and is responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely provision of a range of administrative services. Structure clinics for outpatient appointments Maintain effective relationship with consultants Medical record preparation, tracking, filing and maintenance Assisting with patient billing Wayfinding and general enquiries. About you Demonstrated ability to work methodically with speed, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail in a time-pressured environment. Proven experience working in an administrative role within a medical or hospital environment or extensive data entry experience. Sound computer literacy and numeracy skills, well-developed keyboard skills, and familiarity with patient administration systems. Sound written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to work under the direction of others in a multidisciplinary team environment.
