This is an exciting opportunity for Clinical Psychologists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists with proven experience in community mental health settings and working with young people. In this senior role, you will provide mental health triage, assessment, treatment, and reviews for children and young people up to 18 years, as well as their parents and carers, across the Macarthur LGA. What You\'ll Be Doing As a senior clinician, you will: Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision within a multidisciplinary team. Ensure delivery of evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-orientated assessment and treatment. Carry a clinical caseload aligned with the needs of the service. Where You\'ll Be Working SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney. These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care. Working with young people in crisis often involves navigating complex legal, ethical, and clinical challenges. Can you share an example of how you applied your knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act or other relevant frameworks to advocate for a young person’s needs while ensuring safe and ethical practice? Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
