Full Time role | SYDNEY HOTEL GROUP SYDNEY HOTEL GROUP is seeking an Accommodation Manager to oversee and manage their budget accommodation with 390 beds. The Position Available Accommodation Manager is a hands‑on role for an experienced and seasoned hospitality professional with a strong background in hotel guest services and revenue management. The Accommodation Manager will be responsible for all aspects of front office operations, guest experience, housekeeping and maintenance issues. Leading the team from the front by providing a warm welcome and providing consistently high standards of service to all Hotel Guests. All the while striving to improve profitability and exceed targets and KPIs. Key Responsibilities Oversee guest experience from check‑in to check‑out, ensuring seamless service across all stages of the guest’s stay. Ownership of revenue performance by managing room rates dynamically to maximize occupancy and exceed budgeted revenue targets. Lead and coordinate all operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping, to deliver operational excellence. Manage property maintenance and repairs by liaising with external contractors and service providers in the absence of an internal maintenance team. Monitor and control weekly payroll and staff rosters, ensuring all departmental expenses align with forecasted budgets and revenue streams. Analyse and report on the financial performance of the accommodation business, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and exceed targets. Support the training and development of all staff. Address and resolve guest complaints both in person and online platforms, maintaining an exceptional level of guest satisfaction. Preferred Skills, Experience and Knowledge Over 3 years’ experience in Accommodation Hotels at a supervisory level. Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of financial and operational management costs. Available to work weekends & nights when required. A creative passion and ideas for event promotions and internal marketing. Familiarity with RMS/front office system, knowledge preferred but not essential.
