Principal Consultant at Redpath Partners Director – Investments (Multifamily / Build-to-Rent) Institutionally backed Global Real Estate Investment Platform A leading global real estate investment and development group is expanding its footprint in Australia and is seeking an experienced Investment Director to drive new multifamily (Build-to-Rent) development opportunities across the Sydney market. This role offers the chance to join a highly capitalised, institutionally backed platform with a strong pipeline of growth and a long-term commitment to the Australian residential living sector. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and secure development sites across metropolitan Sydney and select national markets. Lead transaction execution including feasibility analysis, due diligence and deal structuring. Develop and maintain relationships with agents, developers, landowners, and joint venture partners. Work closely with internal investment, development and design teams to shape acquisition strategy and pipeline delivery. Represent the platform externally, acting as a trusted ambassador within the Australian market. About You 10+ years' experience in development site acquisitions, ideally within alternative residential, mixed-use or Build-to-Rent sectors. Strong track record of sourcing and transacting complex sites from origination through to completion. Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Deep market knowledge and a proactive, deal-driven mindset. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, or related field.
