Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Workplace Educator to deliver high-quality induction, onboarding, and ongoing education to our teams at St. Catherine’s in Bathurst and St. Francis in Orange. As a Workplace Educator, you will: Coordinate and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. Deliver engaging education and training to all staff, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards. Conduct training needs analyses and develop learning plans to address identified gaps. Utilise blended learning approaches and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and competency. Support student placements and facilitate nationally recognised qualifications (e.g., traineeships, apprenticeships). Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, clinical teams, and specialist providers. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Registration as a Registered Nurse (preferred) or significant clinical experience in aged care. Qualifications in Adult Training and Education (e.g., Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment). Demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programmes, using adult learning principles. Experience conducting Training Needs Analyses and developing learning plans. Strong understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness and ability to travel between Bathurst and Orange (current driver’s licence required).
