Senior Project Engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior Project EngineerWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of our construction projects. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:
Lead a small team of engineers and supervisors
Manage subcontractors
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Contribute to constructability improvements
Coordinate plant design deliverables and interface with procurement or construction
Support effective subcontractor management
Manage the close out of E&I construction QA for commissioning readiness
Qualifications and Skills:As an experienced Senior Project Engineer, you should demonstrate the following qualities:
Tertiary education in electrical engineering
10+ years’ construction project experience, preferably within the mining and resources sector
Solid leadership experience with a focus on nurturing organizational culture
Strong commercial skills and experience in negotiating and managing contracts
Experience in cost control and planning
Experience in Computerised Commissioning Management System (Hexagon’s Smart Completions or similar) highly desirable
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with MS Office Suite and MS Project or Primavera P6
