Team Leader | Brisbane We are seeking a Team Leader to join our National Team, which specialises in the delivery of best-in‑class risk management solutions for mid‑market clients. We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network. The Team Leader is responsible for providing best‑in‑class service for a key portfolio of diverse commercial clients and managing a few team members to implement strategies that focus on growth and retention of their respective portfolios. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this Team Leader is considered a key driver of our long‑term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with regional leadership to drive positive results in the region. What the day will look like Handle a portfolio of key accounts whilst leading a team of experienced brokers managing a diverse portfolio of clients Managing key stakeholder relationships and enhancing the client experience Identifying development opportunities for your designated portfolio and designing appropriate servicing solutions Developing new and profitable business within the Commercial segment Contributing to the strategic direction of the Commercial business your renewal and new business budget Mentorship and development of team members within the region Actively contributing to monthly branch and sales meetings and being an eager learner for Aon and external training opportunities Skills and experience that will lead to success Our ideal candidate will relate to the following: Previous experience as an Insurance Broker with leadership experience/capabilities Demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range of Commercial Insurance products Hold Tier 1 Qualifications in Insurance Excellent client relationship management capabilities Experience or interest in mentorship and/or team leadership Outstanding communication and presentation skills Entrepreneurial flair with demonstrated new business success Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant working experience Organisational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment A positive attitude to manage/empower team to achieve overall success How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
