As the lead subject matter expert for Sunwater's Procurement Improvement Program, you will design, build and maintain a structured internal Procurement governance framework, including controls, monitoring, reporting and escalation mechanisms. This role is critical to ensuring Sunwater’s procurement function achieves its vision of ‘Buying better together’.You will bring:We are seeking an experienced professional with demonstrated technical skills in procurement governance and performance. You will help set key performance targets, contribute effectively to team activities to enhance commercial performance, and develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve organisational objectives. You will bring thought leadership to the role to drive a continuous improvement philosophy and sustainable business environment and role model and coach Procurement team members. In addition, you will have:-Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field: procurement, business, commerce, law or supply chain3 + years’ experience in a similar role or in a senior leadership capacity as a Category Specialist / Procurement Specialist / Lead or similar, particularly in relation to procurement governanceExperience developing and executing procurement reporting & analytical strategiesExperience leading a teamExperience using SAP or equivalent financial systemsChartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Certification (highly desirable)About Us:We strongly encourage applications from candidates who are seeking flexibility in their work arrangements.
