We are now looking for 2x Procurement Managers to join our highly skilled, Rollingstock Delivery team for Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). Reporting directly to the Regional Procurement Head, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of procurement and contract management services for your assigned portfolio. You will be accountable for:Setting up contracts with shortlisted suppliers, ensuring contracts are within the specified guidelines and working through negotiations as appropriate.Liaison/stakeholder engagement with associated teams, management and external project partnersEnsuring governance of supply systems, ensuring purchasing is executed through approved suppliers, and supplier system attributes are proactively maintainedReviewing and evaluating technical workThis is a fulltime, permanent role, based in Brisbane.

About You:4+ years relevant experience in procurement related to a heavy industry/machineryDegree qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Engineering, Project Management or equivalentCommercially astute, with the ability to influence and negotiateStrong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to workStrong knowledge of procurement, purchasing and supply chain managementExceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
