Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service – Southport QLD An opportunity has become available for a Principal House Officer (Vascular) to join Gold Coast Health where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Review inpatients daily keeping the supervising consultant informed Respond to consult requests from other specialities Facilitate emergency and elective admissions for patients Support the delivery of safe patient care and the consumers' experience About you To be successful in this position you will require: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBSS) or equivalent AHPRA Registration Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Driver Licence Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Temporary full time (up to 3 months) Base salary ranging from $5 155 - $5 657 per fortnight About Us The Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service has a tertiary level Vascular unit offering a full range of services.
