For each other, for our customers, for society and our communities. Location and Working Hours This job role is based in Ipswich. Onsite (5 days field based/on client site). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Clearance before starting this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible. Responsibilities Be responsible for maintaining and delivering estates to enable GSS Operations. Bring together the best networks and technology, with the expertise of our people, to create new possibilities and develop special services that our customers value. Utilise the range of expert skills from both BT engineers and other BT staff for successful delivery of projects. Engage with key customers and improve customer experience by delivering repair, provision and service availability performance with a focus on continuous improvement creating standout service. Balance excellent service with agreed timescales, performance standards and contractual agreements. Manage escalations and work allocation while coordinating project delivery and working alongside the wider project team and other technical leads. Take ownership of requests for new projects and platform works from proposal generation and design concept through transition to in‑life service ops. Help develop and support the pipeline of new projects and understand the impact on the workforce. Skills you’ll need Continuous Improvement Project/Programme Management Talent Management Decision Making Inclusive Leadership What we’d like to see on your CV Have typically worked on a range of projects with different complexities and client relationships, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skill. Have the ability to resolve complex problems, demonstrating strong leadership capability and motivation for high performing teams. Specific experience of delivering all aspects of work to clients directly and delivery of significant and time critical products. Have significant experience of leading and delivering complex projects, requiring management of short, medium and long-term timeframes. Have a high level of understanding of contractual commitments around delivery timescales and contractual obligations. You might even Have a good understanding of PRINCE2 functions.
