Our services span from initial planning and investment, through start-up and operations.Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase

capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train

2. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.Major Responsibilities:Assists execution of the safety component of an ESH Program inclusive of technical and administrative aspects.Helps prepare and implement Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training program.Provides input to Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups to assure that safety and health requirements are integrated within project planning and execution.Interprets safety and health requirements and provides comprehensive assistance on plan preparation, risk assessment, and ESH program execution.Research moderately complex issues and regulatory requirements and prepares documentation and reports.Provides support and guidance for safety studies, risk assessments, and program reviews and audits.Participates in emergency response and incident investigation and resolution.Interfaces and communicates with stakeholders and helps resolve their concerns.Participates in meetings with customers, team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Conducts ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls and corrective actions, and assess compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and Bechtel requirements.Education and Experience Requirements:Degree or Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related science/engineering area preferred.Diverse experience in HSE rolePrevious refinery/chemical/LNG plant construction HSE experience is preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Career-level position within fieldConsidered skilled and proficient in discipline.Professional with an understanding of area of specialization, resolves a wide range of issues.Working knowledge of safe work practices and experience in

conducting accident investigations, compliance audits and project health

surveys is preferred.Proficiency in conducting HSE training programs.Proficiency in assisting construction with development of risk

assessments and associated job hazard analysis.Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft software applicationsExcellent written and oral communicationGeneral Construction Safety Induction (White Card)Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training preferredAdditional InformationThis position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven

surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required.
