June 19, 2024Our client is looking for a Project Engineer- Electrical and Instrumentation to be based in Perth.
Role: Project Engineer - Electrical and InstrumentationLocation: Perth, WA - QV1(Full-time project duration from June 2024 to late 2027).RequirementsBachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering with extensive field experience.5+ years of experienceExperience in a mining construction environmentPrevious experience in managing a Contractor with technical, construction and commercial tasks and understandingHigh level of computer literacy (operating systems, office products, engineering tools).Electrical nominee (desirable but not essential)Good Communication skills in a team environmentResponsibilities:Perth office-based role initially - potentially mobilising to the site during constructionReporting to the Lead SMPE&I Senior Project EngineerAssist in creating, tendering, managing and closeout of SMPE&I Supply and Installation ContractAssist in managing E&I portions of the SMPE&I Contract offsite and onsite during constructionReview documentation with the Lead SMPE&I Senior Project Engineer to ensure technical aspects of the package are definedDevelopment of scope to ensure sub-contract suppliers and site installation scopes are well-definedProvide a focal point for all E&I-focused technical and construction-based queries from the ContractorLiaise with both in-house and external designers as required for the successful completion of the projectEnsure that the HSEQ requirements of the project are adhered to and that company procedures are followedManaging and tracking project expenditure in relation to scope and budget for materials and labourAssist in Project document and drawing controlManage and review/approve Contractor documentation through the life of ContractAssist in project reporting – both in-house and client reportsHow to Apply:
