Position Overview We are seeking a proactive, people-oriented, solutions focused Maintenance Manager to undertake and oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of Retirement Village assets in the Camden and Southern Highlands Regions. This role combines physical hands-on tasks with managerial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Repairs & Maintenance Management Undertake daily building maintenance and repairs of the Villages. Understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Wet and Dry fire and Building terminology. Take directions and instructions from and report to the Village Manager. Coordinate and deliver maintenance programs, contractor performance and compliance. Ensure adherence to WHS, fire safety compliance and building regulations Resident & Stakeholder Engagement Be a trusted advisor to Village Management and residents regarding maintenance and repair issues. Provide proactive, empathetic, professional communication and prompt issue resolution to Management and residents. Effectively oversee, manage and work with contractors. Review contracts, quotes, and invoices Incident, Risk and Hazard Management Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards. Respond to incidents efficiently and effectively. Key Attributes Ability to undertake physical demanding tasks In depth understanding ofmaintenance systems, compliance and contractor management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Financial acumenfor budgeting and expenditure management. Ability to workboth independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines. Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving. Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management data bases. Experience and Qualifications Minimum3 years' experiencein Maintenance or Facilities Management. Experience performing a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks. Current Australian Driver’s Licence. Current Senior First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon appointment) OH&S, Risk, or Safety-related qualifications (highly regarded). #J-18808-Ljbffr
