Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead site maintenance, reliability, and CI across a highly automated manufacturing operation. This role sits within a large, well‑resourced manufacturing facility operating with high levels of automation and modern production technology. You’ll be stepping into a leadership position where maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence are top priorities. The environment is fast‑paced and team‑driven, offering strong support, clear development pathways and the autonomy to make real improvements. Monday - Friday | 07:00 - 15:00 Every other Saturday would be incentivized to come in but not contracted to do so. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team, fostering strong safety, performance, and accountability. Oversee planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime. Drive reliability improvements through RCA, CI initiatives, and data‑led decision making. Manage maintenance budgets, contractors, spare parts inventory, and OEM relationships. Ensure full compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards. Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning. Maintain and improve CMMS accuracy, work order management, and maintenance planning processes. Collaborate closely with production to optimise asset performance and resolve issues quickly. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Lead in manufacturing, packaging, food, or similar high‑speed environments. Trade or engineering qualification (Electrical preferred but open to all). Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams in a large production operation. Solid understanding of automation, PLC‑driven equipment, and modern maintenance methodologies. Strong problem‑solving, RCA, and continuous improvement mindset. Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning, and budget control. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
