Senior Business Analyst - Pricing Job No : Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD Melbourne - Inner Suburbs & CBD Permanent Full Time IT Pay Band 5 Brisbane OR Sydney OR Melbourne Permanent role; hybrid working model; join a large BA Community Strong all-round BA skills with experience with Pricing and the delivery of pricing requirements Experience working on large transformation programs About the role This is a unique permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 290 like-minded analysts where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models. A background in Insurance industry is essential with previous experience of the pricing promise capability or delivery of pricing requirements. To succeed in this role you will be a strong all-rounder understand both the business side and functional side of pricing love working in a past paced transformation program. You will also need to work with ambiguity be a self-starter with first class communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately completely and coherently. Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs. Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable. Work close with squad / project members including but not limited to Delivery lead Scrum Master Developers Tech Leads and Business stakeholders to identify capture plan and deliver the scope of work. What you’ll bring ESSENTIAL : Minimum 5 years senior business analysis experience from a large organisation with strong delivery discipline A background in the Insurance Industry and with previous experience with Pricing and the delivery of pricing requirements Minimum 5 years Agile Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices workshops and Agile ceremonies facilitation Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements. Facilitate structured workshops to capture and validate current and future states and high-level requirements. Strong stakeholder engagement relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally with the ability to challenge constructively Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities simplifying complex concepts and negotiating effectively. Self-starter and team player capable of managing multiple initiatives autonomously in a dynamic environment.
