Work options Hybrid About the Role We are currently seeking a Casual Rostering and Scheduling Specialist to join the team at our Balcatta head office. The role will be responsible for providing a complete and accurate fortnightly roster for all sites within their area and maintaining this over the life of the roster by replacing staff who are on leave or absent with PPT, Casual, or Agency staff as available. The right candidate will ensure that the rostering system is well maintained and configured accurately for each site, recurring shifts are altered as requested by the Residential Managers. Working collaboratively with the broader team to ensure the right staff are rostered as needed and directed by Managers, it also provides a service to all pool staff to ensure they are allocated fairly to vacant shifts as their skill and qualifications dictate. Key Responsibilities Continuous and smooth allocation of client services Complete scheduling activities while meeting deadlines and timelines Timely database updates Customer Service, communication and information flow Answer enquiries and provide information regarding services Provide excellent customer service Key Requirements Customer Service, communication and information flow Develops fortnightly rosters meeting all EBA requirements and service need Maintains daily all fortnightly Rosters until their completion Identifies, and provides relevant rostering training to Admin staff or as requested Maintains the integrity and functionality of the rostering system, ensuring full automation is achieved and sustained Works with Residential Managers and Admin staff to achieve consistently accurate and cost‑effective rosters Allocates staff from the Casual Pool appropriately to fill vacant shifts created from resignations, annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave etc. Ensuring compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements including appropriate Injury Risk Management Previous experience in rostering staff over a 24‑hour period (desirable) Experience in using an electronic rostering program Experience in Administration in the Aged Care industry What’s On Offer Attractive rate of pay $41.96 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation (depending on experience) Non‑profit values driven Western Australian aged care provider All employees have access to Juniperks, an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgement Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax‑free Health Insurance discounts Employee Assistance Program with free counselling Free parking on site How To Apply To be considered for this position please submit your application online including a current curriculum vitae.
