Base pay range A$250,000.00/yr - A$250,000.00/yr We are a firm that specialises in acting on commercial mortgage advances throughout Australia. With a premium reputation forged over 24 years, we are known for our expertise in the commercial mortgage field. Although we have a physical office in Sydney we are in essence a virtual firm. We achieve this by using Actionstep, Google, Docusign & PEXA and other cloud based applications. This is a work from home position. We have built our firm to allow for maximum flexibility, the least amount of stress and the highest possible pay check. We pay you a weekly base salary and a fee share which is based on a generous percentage of your earnings. The fee share is calculated and paid weekly. Your base salary will be dependent upon your level of experience and your earnings will likely be between $200-$300k+ depending upon how much work you choose to take on. We will strive to help you reach your fee earning goals. We have an extremely detailed mortgage advances procedures manual. You will be assigned two experienced associates and two paralegals who you will utilize for delegating tasks and you will perform your work leveraging their skillset. As your practice grows, so will your team. We also embrace technology in all its forms and have advanced document assembly technology that generates our security documents automatically. Our paralegals do the administrative work (file opening, searches, calling to chase documents etc). We have a dedicated bookkeeper who does all billing and trust accounts. We have another bookkeeper who handles all disbursements and receipts. We have business partners and a Managing Director who together are responsible for the various systems, precedents, the effective utilization of technology and recruitment. We have very experienced practitioners who oversee the running of the firm. You will have conduct of your own matters and be a director of the firm. Our solicitors closely collaborate with one another and as your confidence grows you will rely on the other partners less. All loan certifications (the final step before funds are released) are counter-signed by another director. This is to ensure due diligence standards are met. You will not be required to counter-sign anyone else for your first two years. Our partners are experts in mortgage enforcement in all states. You will have your own clients and be able to work at your own pace. This gives you the autonomy of a sole practitioner without the downsides of having to manage a practice with everything which that entails.
