Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, Engage Marine also has operational bases in the Pilbara, Carnarvon, Geelong, Sydney, Whyalla and Port Latta.Engage Marine are committed to leading change in the way marine solutions are delivered.Engage Marine are looking for a Marine Maintenance Planner who is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and planning of marine maintenance on the RTIO assets that are managed by Westug.The incumbent may reside in either the greater Karratha Area or Perth, with frequent travel required to the Pilbara region.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Maintenance Supervisors, Vessel crews and Purchasing Officer to develop and maintain long-term and short-term maintenance plans for the vessels, considering operational requirements, regulatory obligations, and safety standards.Coordinate with Vessel crews and Maintenance supervisors to prioritise maintenance tasks based on criticality, availability of equipment, and Operational constraints.Optimise resource utilisation by balancing workloads, skill levels, and equipment availability across multiple vessels and operational sites.Communicate effectively with vessel crews, and shore-based teams to provide updates on maintenance schedules, changes and any potential impacts on vessel operations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements, to demonstrate compliance and support audit requirements.Present a six-week rolling forecast; 6 weeks look ahead, 4 weeks look ahead, 2 weeks look ahead and current week plan. This will include break-in work when known and costing to associated jobs, the rolling report will also capture any work that is pushed out and why.Monitoring adherence to maintenance budgets.Assist with preparation and planning for docking.Experience:Experience in Maintenance Planning with a strong preference for experience in a Marine planning role.Qualifications:Qualification in Maintenance Planning is desirable (i.e. Certificate IV in Maintenance Engineering) or equivalent.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Maintenance Planner?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?Report this job advert
