Your Opportunity : The Financial Accountant (Fixed Assets) is responsible for providing effective and accurate financial support to the business by maintaining the Fixed Assets registers, balance sheet reconciliations and associated month end reporting. The Financial Accountant (Fixed Assets) will be responsible for : Daily management of Fixed Assets including maintenance of asset classes and effective lives, additions and disposals Updating the schedules which support the Fixed Asset Clearing (WIP) accounts Working with the Property team to allocate Bulk Shopfit to new stores Preparation of general journals and provisions with associated supporting documentation Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations and related follow up Investigation into reconciling items and analysis of general ledger balances Driving process and system improvements Assisting with Audit and other Statutory related queries Ad-hoc financial investigation and analysis as required Adherence to month end and other regulatory timelines We arelooking for the below skillset and experience : Bachelor of Commerce / Business or other related discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment CA / CPA qualified Thorough reconciliation experience and strong technical accounting skills Understanding of Accounting Standards, regulations and guidelines as they apply to Fixed Assets (PPE) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong Excel skills Ability to analyse financial information Experience in the use of finance systems (Oracle would be advantageous) Retail accounting experience desirable Our Benefits andPerks : Enjoy these perks when you join Lovisa Join a global business offering endless career opportunities Supportive diverse and inclusive team environment Strong culture -we truly harness our 10+1 culture commitments Paid Birthday Leave Generous 50% discount off Lovisa products Free gym membership Attractive Referral Rewards Incentive Program Modern HQ with a fully stocked kitchen on Glenferrie Road Monthly social event Personal Development Succession Plans Apply today to start your Lovisa journey. #J-18808-Ljbffr
