Senior Decisioning Scientist – NAB Join the Enterprise Data and Data Analytics team at NAB, a leading financial institution in Australia and New Zealand, as a Senior Decisioning Scientist. Role Overview Lead enterprise‑scale decision science initiatives, collaborate with technology and data experts, and influence strategic decision‑making across the organization. Responsibilities End‑to‑end design, implementation, testing and evaluation of Next Best Action (NBA) propositions using Pega CDH. Data extraction, proposition deployment, performance analysis and refinements. Development and configuration of strategies, rules, engagement policies and contact policies to promote standardisation across NAB’s taxonomy. Use adaptive models to maximise portfolio performance, including effective use of propensity thresholds and feedback optimisation recommendations to business stakeholders. Lead enterprise‑scale decision science in some of Australia’s largest customer experience transformation programmes. Collaborate with exceptional technology and data experts shaping the future of customer engagement. Influence strategic decisioning capability uplift across a major financial institution. Qualifications Demonstrated experience designing and/or implementing decisioning software (IBM Unica, Pega CDH) or campaign management, with strong troubleshooting/debugging skills. Knowledge of direct marketing principles and processes – campaign management, propensity modelling, control groups, measurement, test and learn. Good understanding of customer strategy, contact optimisation and interpretation of analytics. Experience with databases, tools and processes; adaptability to new technology. Experience with statistical or rules‑based development, analysis, requirements gathering, design and development of enterprise decisioning applications.
