Location Townsville RAAF Base, Queensland. Role Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the Fuel Installation Operator will support multiple fuel installation sites in the Townsville region, performing operations and maintenance of aviation and ground fuel installations for RAAF and other Defence stakeholders. Responsibilities Report to the Operations Assistant and perform operational and functional roles around the installation. Safely and compliantly operate and manage aviation and/or ground fuel installations. Manage the quantity, quality, compliance and availability of fuel and related systems. Ensure technical integrity of the fuel through quality control sampling and testing. Apply experience from similar high‑risk or hazardous processing environments. Qualifications & Requirements Defence specific training is advantageous; training will be provided if required. Valid driver’s licence (HR or HC highly regarded). Strong safety awareness. Current or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance. Live locally or willing to relocate to Townsville. What We Offer All required industry/defence specific training.
