Theatre Support Officer

As the Theatre Support Officer, you will report to the Theatre Manager and join our efficient, friendly and supportive Perioperative team. You will provide assistance in the delivery of patient‑centred care by undertaking responsibilities and duties that will include, but not limited to: Responsibilities Rotate and date check consumable stock Case setups are completed for instrumentation and consumables before scheduled theatre lists Assist CSSD by safely storing sterile stock Monitor and correctly document temperature of sterile stock in storage Assist Theatre Scrub Nurses by assuring maintenance of Surgeon preference cards Alert as necessary consumable shortages to the Theatre Store Officer and Theatre Manager Unused instrumentation and consumables are re‑stored at the completion of a list Benefits & Qualifications Novated lease opportunities Fitness Passport Paid parental leave Staff reward and recognition programs Comprehensive understanding of role and responsibilities Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously Comprehensive understanding of great customer service Excellent time management skills ensuring the appropriate prioritisation of roles and responsibilities Ability to receive management directives pending on theatre acuity and complex case loads Previous experience in theatres and / or a CSSD Ability to work Monday to Friday Demonstrated collaborative and well‑developed verbal and written communication skills Commitment to ongoing education and professional development within a structured learning program Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Part‑time Job function: Health Care Provider Industries: Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
