We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in a major trauma hospital and a proven coding accuracy of 95% or higher to join our team. What you will bring to the role Recognised Clinical Coding qualification or tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or (Medical Record Librarian/Administrator) or extensive coding experience in a tertiary hospital Experience in clinical coding using ICD-10-AM and sound knowledge of current Australian Coding Standards Demonstrated experience in using computerised patient data bases, electronic medical record and clinical systems Demonstrated ability to adapt to change Demonstrated written English and verbal communication skills Demonstrated commitment to working in a team and achieving team goals Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise own workload to ensure daily benchmarks are met Commitment to continuing professional development and to working in a continuous quality environment Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
