We have an exciting opportunity for a Growth Director to join our growing digital marketing agency. This position will be based in our Head Office, located in Herston (Brisbane). About us Freckle is a full‑service digital marketing and creative agency. We partner with brands across eCommerce, hospitality, food and beverage and more, helping them grow through data‑led and creative digital strategies. Our team thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and delivering measurable results. About you You’re an experienced digital marketer with a strong background in strategy, paid media, performance, and client management – ideally gained within an agency environment. You’re passionate about mentoring and developing teams and you bring a proactive, strategic mindset to every challenge. You’ll be energised by the opportunity to lead digital strategy, grow client accounts and work alongside the founder to elevate Freckle’s offering and performance. Key responsibilities Proven ability to develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies, leveraging an omni‑channel approach A strong understanding of Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, CRM, and Shopify website Strong capability in data analysis, tracking, and attribution, using insights to optimise performance and drive ROI Skilled in strategic leadership, translating business goals into actionable marketing roadmaps that connect data, technology, and creativity Experienced in client strategy and relationship management, including onboarding, troubleshooting, and acting as a senior escalation point Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability Ownership of the client experience strategy for the agency, ensuring it is implemented in a meaningful way that drives results Excellent project management skills, ensuring delivery of high‑quality outcomes across multiple accounts Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, quoting accurately, and driving agency growth Confident in business development, proposal creation, and identifying growth opportunities for both clients and the agency. Connects business decisions with commercial outcomes for the business and communicates these with the team to drive greater awareness and understanding. Key criteria A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing and leadership role, preferably in an agency environment Demonstrated success in driving business growth for clients Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and tactics Excellent leadership and team management abilities Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills Experience working on new business opportunities Proactive, results‑oriented, and adaptable to changing market dynamics Existing network and relationships are a plus.
