As Project Officer (on a 2 year fixed term - 4 days per week contract), you’ll work hands‑on with dairy farmers to improve effluent and nutrient management, helping them adopt best‑practice solutions that boost sustainability and efficiency. You’ll contribute to projects that matter, share insights that drive change, and build strong relationships across the industry—all while being supported by a collaborative team that values innovation and purpose. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored farmer support through one-on-one advice, workshops, and field days. Conduct effluent system reviews and support nutrient management planning. Assist with on-farm trials and share results that showcase best practice. Build strong networks with farmers, processors, and regional stakeholders. Create engaging content to highlight success stories and project outcomes. About You You’re passionate about agriculture and sustainability, with: Technical expertise in effluent/nutrient management or environmental management. Experience in project delivery, facilitation, and communication. Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.A practical understanding of farming systems and dairy production.
