Workfast is looking for Civil Workers to join an exciting sewer & waste water infrastructure program in Sydney’s southern region . What You Get Long term project / work $49.94/h + allowances per day + super and OT Opportunities for full-time employment, upskilling and career progression Supportive and experienced leadership team Strong safety culture and professional development Chance to work on essential infrastructure with technical complexity What You Need Previous experience with Sydney Water or similar authority Experience working on large diameter live flow sewer assets Experience with deep shaft access and manhole rehabilitation NSW White Card NSW Driver’s Licence Work at Heights (valid within 2 years) Sydney Water Procedure / Confined Space course; or willing to gain (cost $750.00 for 2 days course) includes: HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation MSMPER200 - Work in accordance with an issued permit MSMPER202 - Observe permit work MSMPER300 - Issue work permits MSMWHS201 - Conduct hazard analysis MSMWHS216 - Operate breathing apparatus MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres PUASAR025 - Undertake confined space rescue RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces High Risk Work Licence – LF, WP (desirable) Flexibility to assist in other civil works (desirable) What You Will Be Doing Working in live sewer tunnels Supporting critical waste water infrastructure upgrades and maintenance Engaging in civil construction, sewer rehabilitation, and deep access work Following strict safety protocols on a high-risk site Working alongside a collaborative and skilled team Contributing to a long-term community-serving project About Us Workfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia's largest companies.
