The role This is an exciting opportunity to join our established Counselling Team, based from our Mirrabooka site(s), this role will allow the candidate to work across our Perth North sites. In the role of High Intensity Counsellor, you will assist clients to achieve positive results as they move along the continuum of wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include delivering high quality counselling services to clients in an in-person and at times a one-on-one format via telehealth. You will be skilled with a broad range of high quality, evidence-based, client-centred behavioural health approaches. The role is primarily based in Mirrabooka, but occasional travel may be required to other sites across Perth North. To be successful in the role, you will have: Masters level qualifications in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology or Social Work or other suitable allied health profession. Professional membership in the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and/or the Psychotherapist and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or other registered authority. Experience supporting individuals with vocational or employment-related challenges. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to empowering others. A strong understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or the primary counselling modality you are trained in.
