IEPro are working with a well-established civil contractor to hire a Commercial Manager based in Brisbane. This company delivers major civil and infrastructure projects across Queensland and is known for its commitment to quality, teamwork, and long‑term partnerships with clients and suppliers. With a healthy pipeline of projects and a strong focus on collaboration and commercial excellence, this role presents an opportunity to play a key leadership role within a business that values its people and invests in their development. The Opportunity As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of project delivery across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with senior management and project teams to ensure best practice in contract administration, cost forecasting, and risk management. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast‑paced project environment and enjoys working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. The Role Lead commercial operations across multiple civil projects Oversee contract administration, procurement, and financial reporting Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements Negotiate and review subcontractor and supplier agreements Advise senior leadership on project performance and risk mitigation Mentor and develop project engineers and contract administrators About You Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline At least eight years of experience in civil construction, including commercial or project management Proven ability to manage contracts, claims, and financial performance Strong communication and negotiation skills A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and attention to detail Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing commercial teams A commitment to collaboration, integrity, and quality project outcomes The Benefits Permanent position based in Brisbane Salary up to $210k + super Work with a respected contractor delivering complex civil projects Collaborative and professional company culture Genuine opportunity to influence commercial strategy and business growth Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
