Wills and Estates Lawyer 2-3PAE contract Collett Law Group was established 3 years ago as a commercial practice specialising in legal services for small business in the Moreton Bay region. Due to our rapid growth, we are now expanding our practice to wills and estates to accommodate client demand. We are big on work‑life balance and enjoy what we do beyond law. Flexible working arrangements are welcome and we encourage anyone who is looking for a part‑time role or looking to return to the workforce after a break to apply. Role Description This is a contract role for a Wills and Estates Lawyer with 2‑3 years of post‑admission experience (PAE). The role is based on‑site at our office in Brendale, QLD. Key responsibilities include advising clients on wills, probate, and estate matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing probate applications, and conducting legal research. The lawyer will also be expected to work closely with clients to provide tailored advice in a professional and compassionate manner. Skills and Qualifications Strong legal knowledge and practical experience in Wills, Estates, Probate, and Estate Planning Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including wills, power of attorney, and estate plans Strong legal research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, with a focus on delivering sensitive advice Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Admission as a Lawyer in Australia and hold or be eligible for a current practicing certificate Attention to detail and high standards of professional ethics and confidentiality Experience in a similar role or in private practice specialising in Wills and Estates is advantageous Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Legal Industries Legal Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
