About the Wills & Estates Lawyer role In order to service and develop our existing client base, we are seeking a Wills & Estates Lawyer to lead this area of practice who shares our vision for technical excellence, innovation and a client‑centric approach. Your role will primarily involve advising on estate planning, drafting various documents to ensure our client’s testamentary intentions are fulfilled, and estate litigation. Because most of our clients are business people you’ll need to navigate challenging asset‑protection structures. You may also assist other lawyers in the firm on litigious matters and ad‑hoc commercial advice from time to time. Responsibilities End‑to‑end management of client matters Estate administration and estate litigation Writing technical advices on a range of succession matters Precedent automation and process development Contributing to the firm’s internal knowledge base Qualifications & Skills Experience drafting a range of succession‑related documents Ability to relate to people High level of attention to detail Understanding of document assembly systems and processes Queensland Practicing Certificate Self‑motivated with initiative to work at a high level with minimal supervision Highly computer literate with advanced skills in MS Word – any programming or IT skills would be advantageous, but not strictly required What’s on Offer Exceptional opportunity to become an integral member of a well‑established boutique firm and lead the Wills & Estates practice Hands‑on initial training provided, along with access to the firm’s learning management system and over 40 learning videos and internal resources High support‑staff‑to‑feeearner ratio Comparably low billable hour targets Well‑equipped CBD office with a positive and client‑focused work environment Applications If this role sounds like the career opportunity you’ve been looking for, please submit your application (CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role) now All applications will be treated as strictly confidential.
