Job Type : Permanent – Full-Time. Practice Information : This well-established, QPA-accredited general practice located in the heart of Gympie. Operating as a group practice, it offers a wide range of comprehensive healthcare services to the local community. They are a mixed billing practice dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community. Their team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Billing Information : The practice operates on a mixed billing system. While most consultations are privately billed, bulk billing may be available for certain patients at the discretion of the treating doctor. Aged Pensioners and Health Care Card holders may be eligible for discounted consultation fees. Children under 16 years may also be eligible for bulk billing. Fees vary based on consultation type and procedures performed. Patients are encouraged to discuss fees with reception prior to their appointment. Services Provided : General Practice Consultations, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health Support, Antenatal Care, Child Health Services, Skin Cancer Checks, Minor Procedures, After-Hours and Telehealth Appointments. Position Overview The practice is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join their dynamic team. Candidate Requirements Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is desirable but not essential. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written English. Sound clinical knowledge, diagnostic and decision-making skills. A commitment to delivering patient-centred, high-quality care. Strong communication and teamwork skills. We welcome expressions of interest from both VR and non-VR doctors, including overseas-trained practitioners. Supervision may be available for the right candidate. Additional Information for International Applicants Doctors who are not currently registered in Australia must meet the following requirements to practice : Hold a primary medical qualification comparable to Australian standards. Be eligible for AHPRA registration, via one of the recognised pathways (Competent Authority Pathway, Standard Pathway, or Specialist Pathway). Meet the English language proficiency requirements set by AHPRA (e.g. IELTS or OET tests with required scores, unless exempt). Obtain Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification, where applicable. Secure an appropriate work visa, such as the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482). Hold medical indemnity insurance, as required for all practicing doctors in Australia. Be willing to work under supervision, if not currently vocationally registered. After Hours Requirements : No Salary Information $150,000 - $350,000 per annum.
