Senior Legal Counsel We have an exciting in‑house opportunity at the Senior Legal Counsel level to join one of Australia's best known construction and infrastructure companies. We represent a leading provider of construction, infrastructure and facility services in Australia. As a result of growth, the company is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their front‑end and transactional focused sub‑team. Location: Sydney. The Team This highly respected business is recruiting an experienced construction lawyer to join their in‑house Legal team based in Sydney. The team is headed by a group of senior lawyers who have been exposed to various sectors within the construction practice area, with this expertise having the capacity to assist your career development. Responsibilities You will report directly to the Head of Front‑End Transactions and be responsible for offering transactional legal support. Key responsibilities include: Providing support on the company's bids and tenders across a range of projects and industries including major social infrastructure, energy (including renewables), utilities and telecommunications. Providing legal assistance to project governance initiatives and, where appropriate, reporting to project governance bodies/forums. Requirements To be successful in this role you will most likely have 8 to 12 years’ post‑admission experience , preferably in front‑end construction from a top law firm or leading construction company. In addition, you will have: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with legal and other professionals and clients as necessary. Superior analytical and drafting skills. Ability to work effectively with clients. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Ambition with the desire to excel your career.
