Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III Salary from $64,202.80 – $69,213.15 p.a. + super Support and engage in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. About the Role As the Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III, you will: Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate educational programs and daily activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive community. Support daily routines including meal times, supervision, and maintaining high standards of health and hygiene. Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the centre’s programs, policies, and Quality Improvement Plan. What You’ll Bring Certificate or willingness to obtain CHCPRT001 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk. Strong understanding of child safety, wellbeing, and risk management practices. Mandatory reporting of children at risk of significant harm in accordance with Council’s Child Protection Policy and Procedures. Ability to provide proof of identity and maintain a safe environment for all children. Commitment to attend and apply Child Protection training as directed. Practical knowledge in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum in an Early Childhood setting. Awareness of the National Quality Framework, including Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. Bi-lingual skills or additional language capabilities to support diverse communities. Child Protection Requirements & Responsibilities Must hold a Working with Children Check clearance (or have completed the application process for a new Check). The Working With Children Check is a prerequisite for employment in this position under Part 2, section 6 of the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
