Technical Sales Specialist, Single-Cell Solutions Join our Lifesciences team to drive new business growth with BD Rhapsody Single-Cell Product portfolio across ANZ. The role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and requires 70% travel. Key Responsibilities Lead sales activities for the BD Rhapsody Single-Cell Multiomics platform across ANZ. Achieve revenue and gross profit targets within key accounts, contributing to overall BDB business objectives. Develop and maintain a robust short- and long‑term pipeline to generate new opportunities and profitable revenue. Understand primary scientific objectives and scM needs of key accounts. Develop and execute tailored customer strategies to capture new opportunities and expand BD’s footprint. Build strong relationships across all levels of customer organizations. Identify emerging market opportunities and trends within the scM space. Gather and communicate market intelligence to support targeted marketing strategies and tactics. Help position BD’s technology and value proposition to differentiate from competitors. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Applications teams to drive sales and profit growth. Align internal stakeholders for seamless execution of commercial strategies. Collaborate with Customer Service, Inventory Control, Finance, Regulatory, and other internal teams to support customer success. Foster positive working relationships with key external stakeholders. Represent BD professionally in industry forums, conferences, and customer engagements. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in life sciences. Excellent product knowledge of BD Biosciences portfolio, including reagents and instrumentation. Genomics or Molecular Biology laboratory experience advantageous. Self‑starter with ability to work independently and within larger teams. Demonstrated sales experience across laboratory consumables and capital equipment preferred. Laboratory experience preferably in Immunology, Genomics, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology. Proven business acumen and sales capability. Resilient, proactive and strong attention to detail.
