Great Southern Bank (Formerly CUA) – Brisbane QLD Hybrid 1d ago , from Great Southern Bank (Formerly CUA) As our highly valued Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Specialist based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne , your role will be responsible for the administration, management, and continual improvement of the bank’s Microsoft 365 cloud platforms – including Microsoft SharePoint and Viva Engage. The role ensures these platforms remain secure, reliable, and well‑governed, while supporting collaboration and effective information management across the organisation. It combines technical administration and cloud engineering with stakeholder engagement and solution delivery, helping business areas to leverage the full potential of Microsoft 365 to meet operational and communication needs. You’ll make an impact by taking on the following responsibilities: SharePoint Administration and Development Manage and administer the bank’s SharePoint environment, including the intranet, divisional and team sites. Ensure platform performance, permissions, and governance compliance with internal policies and standards. Configure and implement new SharePoint features, workflows, and site enhancements. Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver site improvements and solutions that support operational efficiency. Oversee site lifecycle management, including provisioning, archiving, and decommissioning. Viva Engage and Microsoft Viva Suite Administer and support Viva Engage, ensuring stability, integration, and adherence to governance standards. Partner with Corporate Communications and People & Culture (HR) to manage communities, campaigns, and engagement analytics. Explore opportunities to extend the Microsoft Viva suite (e.g., Viva Connections, Topics, Insights) to address business needs. Microsoft 365 Administration and Support Provide administration and technical support across other Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Stream). Support governance, compliance, and data protection activities within the Microsoft 365 environment. Assist in planning and implementing new Microsoft 365 features, updates, and capabilities. Stakeholder Engagement and Continuous Improvement Partner with business units to identify opportunities to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing. Provide user support, training, and guidance on SharePoint and Viva features. Contribute to documentation, governance frameworks, and end‑user materials. Monitor Microsoft 365 roadmap developments and recommend adoption of relevant new capabilities. Collaborate with IT Security, Identity, and Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory requirements.
