Position: Financial Accountant Location: Head Office - Northern Beaches Full time role with flexibility Qualifications and Experience Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Audit, or Business Studies Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a strata accounting role Trust account experience is essential Must have experience with Strata Master /MRI accounting software (THIS IS ESSENTIAL) Skills & Attributes High attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills High computer literacy Effective time management and organizational skills Accountability for the duties and tasks associated with your role Positive attitude, willingness to learn and to work within a team Your Responsibilities Receipting and Payments Facilitation of bank reconciliations Liaising with strata manager for instructions relating to outstanding receipting issues Audits reconciliations, re-codes and journals 12month audits - reconciliations, liaising with auditors and management of process Insurance reconciliations Legislative Requirements Debt Recovery Monthly Financial Reporting Issuing of Levy notices (Supervision) Australian Tax Office (ATO) Reporting BAS and Tax Returns - advantageous but not essential ABN / TFN and GST Reconciliations - advantageous but not essential If you are qualified and experienced, please send your resume and cover letter to ****@metroasset.com.au Please respond by email only.
