About the role: The Manager, Strategic Asset Management is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of the health asset portfolio under a stewardship model. The role will facilitate sector compliance with the regulatory standards, including the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) and the requirements set out by the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF). A key aspect of this role is developing and implementing strategic asset management practices, principles and business processes across the health sector, including collating and reviewing data provided by health services in their management of the asset base and identifying emerging trends. The role will review data for emerging trends and facilitate reporting on health services compliance, asset and financial performance. About you: A tertiary qualification in fields related to engineering and/or asset management or equivalent extensive experience in asset management would be required. An understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is well regarded.
