Position Overview The Quality Assurance Engineer is pivotal in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards. This role involves investigating non-conformances, managing supplier performance, and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall quality assurance processes. As a key contributor, you will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, driving initiatives that streamline operations and improve product reliability. Key Responsibilities We are looking for a qualified professional with a strong background in quality assurance and engineering principles. Investigate and process non-conformances from production and suppliers Manage quarantine stocks and support disposition of non-conforming parts Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes Assist in AS9102 compliance and reporting Drive corrective and preventative actions across departments Provide training and contribute to quality system improvements Support monthly reporting and KPI tracking Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimise product quality Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications & Experience: Degree or diploma in engineering or relevant trade background Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings Experience with ISO9001 or AS9102 Quality Management Systems Proficiency in quality and problem-solving tools Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in problem-solving teams Preferred Skills: Experience with machining, surface treatment, and precision assembly Familiarity with quality measuring equipment and business systems The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to quality assurance, exhibit a flexible attitude, and possess the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
