Position Profile : The Executive Director Environmental Health position leads the development and management of environmental health policies, plans and strategies across the WA health system to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the people of Western Australia. To be successful in this position, you will be a committed, progressive and experienced leader with a proven ability to lead and inspire a sense of purpose and be able to think, act and focus strategically in order to : Provide strategic leadership and deliver strategic advice and support for WA health in the development of relevant public health and environmental health legislation, plans and policy informed by contemporary evidence and research. Ensure, and promote, that the Department’s environmental health activity is compliant with relevant legislative and procedural requirements.
