The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. You will perform duties with the support and guidance of your Team Leader, reporting to the Allied Health Manager, to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. Your duties in this role will include: Managing a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation for the management of a diverse range of conditions, including post-Orthopaedic surgery, post-spinal surgery, musculoskeletal conditions, reconditioning, pain and cardiac conditions. Providing Physiotherapy intervention in individual and group settings in the gym and hydrotherapy environment. Participating in developing appropriate discharge plans within the multidisciplinary team. Working both independently and within a team structure. Skills and Experience We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about customer focused care and who thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team. You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following: Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA Minimum one (1) years of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice Remuneration On offer is base hourly rate of $38.26 - $59.62 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
