To be eligible, you must (a) Have casual experience totalling at least two (2) teaching sessions at La Trobe University in the previous two (2) years; (b) Have not held a continuing position in a university in the previous three (3) years. About the Role Join La Trobe University as a Lecturer (Teaching-Focussed) in Physiotherapy. You will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programmes, contributing to a school renowned for research excellence, industry partnerships, and a strong commitment to student success. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching in physiotherapy, including lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops, clinical sessions, and online/blended/face-to-face modes. Coordinate subjects and provide constructive, timely feedback to students. Participate in curriculum design and continuous improvement, embedding employability skills and evidence-based teaching. Lead and implement teaching improvement projects at subject, course, or discipline level. Contribute to knowledge transfer and build relationships at a local level. Undertake administrative duties as required. About You Registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist. Recognised standing in the discipline, with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development, and subject coordination. Evidence of innovative teaching initiatives and evaluation of their effectiveness. Ability to influence the teaching practice of others and engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff and students. Knowledge, expertise, and skills in key areas of physiotherapy.
