Client Service Officer - Clerk 3 / 4 - Legal Profession Admission Board Employer : NSW Department of Communities and Justice Location : Sydney CBD (flexible work arrangements available) Employment type : Temporary full-time (11-month contract, extendable) Salary : Clerk Grade 3 / 4, Base Salary ($84,659 – $92,701), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading What You'll Do Process applications for admission as a lawyer, register new students, and manage course progression and exam arrangements for existing students. Assist with planning and execution of twice-yearly examinations, including coordination of marking processes and results publication. Enter and maintain data in student and admission systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Respond to telephone, email, and counter enquiries from students and applicants, providing reliable and comprehensive information. Process requests and provide advice to prospective students for the LPAB's Diploma in Law course. Assist with the monthly lawyer admission ceremonies, annual student graduation ceremonies, and awarding of prizes to students after each term. Contribute to projects that improve the design and quality of student and admission services. Source and compile data and other information for Board management as required. What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal skills and customer service excellence. Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of relevant legislation, rules and regulations. Experience in administration, including use of computer-based systems such as word processing, spreadsheets and records management systems. Persons who are registered as students-at-law in the Board's Diploma of Law course are not eligible to apply for this position.
